Description
We are in Tinos, the third largest island of the Cyclades after Naxos and Andros.
The film opens with a large panoramic shot of the port of Panormos, which is located in the North-East of the island and is 27 km from Chora (Tino’s capital). We see the people in the harbor as well as the fishing boats. The lens shows us the building structure of the coastline with cars of that era and stays on the harbor’s views.
The recording continues the great mountain of Tinos Tsiknia as well as the rock island of Planitis in the background. We see fishermen on the platform and people around and we get back to the views of the village.
The film closes with the Hero monument of the village of Kardianis.
