Description
We are in Agra, a city on the banks of the Yamuna River in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in the north-northeast of India.

The film opens with a panoramic shot of the exterior area of the Taj Mahal and then the filmmaker focuses on the building. We see the white ivory marble mausoleum and then the whole building complex.

The complex is developed around the mausoleum which was erected in 1631 by the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses his tomb. The tomb is the centerpiece of a 17-hectare (42-acre) complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.

The view changes to the interior area shots with several traditionally dressed women holding their babies. We get back to the views of the complex with camera recording a ritual. The film closes with shots of the ornate interior of the complex.
