We are in Platy, a village of the Municipality of Prespa in the prefecture of Florina, in Greece.
A young woman is driving a lawnmower and smilingly greets the camera. We see shots of the houses of the village as well as Mount Varnoundas in the background. We meet a resident of the village, who passes by with his tractor and smiles at the camera. We see views from the village and the lawnmower that arrives at the filmmaker's house, as he undertakes to park it in the yard. Shots with his mother follow and then village women, one of whom is holding a small child in her arms.
In the backyard of the filmmaker's house, his mother skins off a rabbit, which she is going to cook, in honor of her son's visit from abroad. Cats look forward to their share of the upcoming family meal, while chickens run around. The father carries food for the animals. Afterwards, we watch a young man leave the yard of their house on a motorcycle, the legendary KREIDLER brand, the well-known Floretta.
Shots of the village’s houses and streets follow as well as in the background the snow-capped Mount Varnoundas. On the roof of a house is the television antenna while behind it the small and the big hill of the village can be seen. The shots of the residents continue, including a police officer. The filmmaker poses with his wife and a baby in his arms, as one of the two taxis that served the area enters the frame, with the waters of Prespa in the background.
The film closes with shots of the two-story, Macedonian-style houses, the Community Office, the Elementary School with its yard, Mount Devas in the background, a villager jokingly cleaning a baking tray and a couple joking in front of the camera.
