We are located in Korthi Andros, a seaside village on the south-eastern coast of Andros which is 22 km from Chora (Αndro’s capital).
The film opens with a large panoramic view of the village’s coastal structure, with buildings on one side and fishing boats on the other, with some of them leaning upside down just outside the shore. As the panoramic shot continues, we see the sea, old stone buildings a little further back, a woman standing on the beach and two little girls playing in the water.
The shots from the beach continue with lots of people being around, some swimming, others sunbathing. The filmmaker is standing at two children who play outside the water and one of them greets him. We see the swimmers and the little girls who enter the water and begin to swim towards a woman. Afterwards, one more woman comes towards the camera an d poses for the lens.
The view changes to a fishing boat sailing. The camera stays for a while on the boat and then shows a woman standing at the front door of her house and a man walking towards the lens.
The film closes with shots of the fishing catch of the day as well as a shot of the port.
