Barcelona is a city in Spain and the capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia.
The film begins with a shot of the cinematographer driving his car along the Costa Dorada, and continues with shots of the beach from inside the car. At the end of this part, we see him coming out of the water after a swim.
The film continues with scenes from a road in Barcelona: many people walking, an open-air flower shop. Then we arrive at the city’s port where onlookers admire a caravel bearing four shields on its side.
Next is a panoramic view with the modern ships and cranes in the port.
The cinematographer then films a short boat ride and finally, with the camera moving vertically, he films the spires of the Sagrada Familia, designed by Antoni Gaudí.
