He was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1944. He was an internal student at the Athens College and he had his senior year of High School in Hadjikonstantinou School, Kalamaki. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Newcastle (B.Sc.) 1965-1968 and the University of Sheffield (M.Sc.) 1968-1970.
He is married and has two sons.
He has worked for the family business Salon Vert since 1970.
He co-founded, as a partner, in 1990 the production company of non-woven products "Bondofibra" in the industrial area of Lamia. He stayed in Lamia for the first two years as technical director.
He retired in 2009.
He inherited from his father the love for 8mm films which lasted until 1998 when the videos took over the market.
