Description
We are in Megalo Chorio (meaning Big Village), a mountainous village o f Evritania. It is built in a dense fir forest at an altitude of 720 meters on the slopes of Mount Kaliakouda. It belongs to the Municipality of Karpenisi and is 17 km away from it.
The film opens with shots in the village and a man picking up cut wood from a stack while a woman approaches him. We see the woman who tries to approach a kitten and then she warders in the village. Afterwards, the lens shows us a hen on a wooden shed in an old and ruined building and views of the snow-capped Kaliakoudas mountain.
A chimney smokes and two goats are standing while the woman is trying to pet them. A woman, who wears black clothes sees, them and smiles and the film closes with the woman who drinks water from a spring in the village.
