We are in London, the capital and largest city of the United Kingdom, as well as England, to the south-east of which it is located.
The film opens with shots of a busy street. We see cars from that era as well as London's signature red double-decker bus. The filmmaker stays on the street with a crowd of people coming and going. We see the Nelson's Column monument in Trafalgar Square and children feeding the pigeons. Then, with a panoramic view, we see the entire square as well as the fountain in its center.
The view changes to Hyde Park with people standing around and two girls smiling and waving to the camera. The lens pans over ducks swimming in the Serpentine Lake and then pans to the Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens. We see the British marching band as well as the Palace of Westminster which houses the British Parliament. With a panoramic shot, we see the palace and the Elizabeth Tower known as "Big Ben". The filmmaker stays on the parade where the palace takes place and then shows us a woman in a car.
We continue with the tower of London and the English flag flying. A short shot of the homonymous bridge (tower bridge) and we get back to the castle. We see an antiques and art shop called “The curiosity shop” and back to the streets of London. The recording continues with footage from Hyde Park as the filmmaker's gaze is stolen by a Scottish feast.
The film closes with a historical building and the shooting of a film.
