Description
At the Kyoto train station, awaiting embarkation on the pioneering Tokaido Shinkansen train, which was launched on October the 1st 1964, for the Tokyo Olympics. The first model was called the 0 Series.
The camera follows one of the departing trains recording its shape of a bullet. Due to this similarity and its high speeds, with a maximum of 200 kph, it acquired the nickname, Bullet Train.
Shots from inside the train, luxury and good service as we watch smiling girls serving the passengers.
From the window the filmmaker records bridges, forests, a small village and a freight train in the opposite direction.
