A police officer gives information in two friends by crossing the street with them while the cars continue on their way. The two friends continue their tour with views from the city and then we see the Galata Bridge. We watch a lot of people and cars that are moving on the streets and along the bridge crossing The Golden Horn.
The film closes with footage from the ships at the pier and smoke coming out of their funnels.
In the film, we are actually watching the fourth version of the bridge which was built in 1912 and was functioned until 1992, when it was badly damaged in a fire. It is 466 m (1,529 ft) long and 25 m (82 ft) wide and connects Eminönü with Karaköy, formerly Peran.
A total of five bridges have been built on the same ground, with the latter in 1994. The only thing that has not changed on the bridge is the habit of people fishing on it and the view it offers, as you can see from one side Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and on the other the Galata Tower.
