Description
We are located in the plain of the Prefecture of Fthiotida (Phthiotis) in Greece, near the town of Leianokladi, along the river Spercheios, between the mountains of Oete and Othrys. The filmmaker and his company have started their trip from Platistomo with final destination the town of Ypati.
We watch shots from inside the car from the route, up to the banks of Spercheios.
Arriving at a shallow spot in Spercheios, three cars cross the river. We see a Plymouth or Dodge, a Vauxhall Velox, 1948 models and a 1950 Citroën Traction Avant.
The Citroën is the last to cross the river and arrives next to the filmmaker and his family, they greet and talk to each other.
