Fort Lucinda was created in the early 1960s and was a Wild West theme park. It was in Nevada, near Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam.
It featured traditional wooden buildings, such as the saloοn, the hotel, and the fire station, which had been relocated there from abandoned Nevada towns. Various animals were kept, such as a small elephant and some lamas for the visitors to ride. The old cars, tractors and especially the big train locomotive were also famous.
Fort Lucinda closed for economic reasons in October 1966.
Today in its place there is a hotel complex and casino, called Hoover Dam Lodge.
