We are at Pier No. 39 in the Port of San Francisco.
People are moving along the side or wait to get on board. We see the approach of the ships and the ferry boats at the dock and a sign that reads “Alcatraz”, the famous prison island.
The group of friends gets on board and the filmmaker takes shots of the urban landscape as the ferry boat leaves the city behind and subsequently focuses on the Golden Gate Bridge. We are watching footage of the pillars that restrain the bridge's cables, and its deck. Views from on top of the bridge at a distance and a ship that is passing under it.
We also watch a floral clock.
Views of small islands and footage from the Golden Gate Bridge as the filmmaker drives down the road.
The Golden Gate Bridge, one of the most recognizable sightseeings, is a suspension bridge in the Bay of San Francisco and connects the city of San Francisco with the city's northern peninsula. Designed and built by Joseph Strauss.
