We are in Everglades National Park, Florida. The film opens with shots from the moving car. We see the area, the driver and the USA flag. The filmmaker, on a tourist bus, with a panoramic shot shows us the green plain and an alligator.
We get back to the shots from the road and the camera focuses on the sign which informs us that we have arrived at Everglades National Park. It is an American national park that protects the southern 20% of the original Everglades, which is a vast area of subtropical-tropical wetland in Florida. The park is the largest tropical wilderness in the United States and the largest wilderness of any kind east of the Mississippi River.
The camera shows us the driver and then shots of the park with the marina standing out. The filmmaker records and follows a pelican for a while and afterwards, he shows us a sign that reads "flamingo". It is - probably - the name of the boat that the filmmaker is on as he shows us views of the river and the surrounding area.
The film closes with a magnificent sunset and views of the landscape as the night falls.
