Description
We are at Elliniko International Airport or simply Elliniko (officially Athens State Airport) which was the international airport of Athens for over 60 years, until March 2001, when it was closed and replaced by the Athens International Airport "El. Venizelos”.

The film opens with a NAMC YS-11 Olympic Airways plane that is parked on the runway. The lens focuses on its turbines and then follows a Douglas DC-9 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines plane preparing for take off. The camera captures an Olympic Airways plane taking off and its turbines.

The filmmaker shows us views from the plane which he is, with the entire Elliniko International Airport as well as the take-off of another plane (probably a NAMC YS-11) which he follows for a while. The aerial shots continue as we occasionally see the turbines of the plane.

The film closes with the landing of the plane and the control center of the Kos airport.
