The Samariá Gorge is in southwest Crete in the regional unit of Chania in the Lefka Ori Mountains. It is 18 km long and is the longest gorge in Crete and in Europe. The gorge became a national park in 1962.
In the first shot, the filmmaker cleans the windshield of his car and the journey on the mountainous areas of Crete continues, a stop for a panoramic view of the Lefka Ori, a helicopter performs a flight to transport goods or supplies.
We see a flock of sheep with their shepherd on the road and we reach the Xyloskalo point of Mount Omalos from where the path for the passage of the gorge begins. A woman, in front of the entrance with the information signs, shows that she is probably cold.

The adventure continues on trails and rocky terrain
