Description
We are in Nairobi, the capital and largest city of Kenya, as well as the homonymous province.
The film opens with a woman and quite a few people with luggage that are at the Nairobi airport terminal. We see footage from the moving car and stand on the road sign that informs us that Nairobi is on the A104 and Jamo Kenyatta Airport Nairobi on the B10 on the right. As the car continues, we see a small road sign that informs us that Nairobi is at 12 km.
The view changes with shots through the city. We see the area with the city’s building structure, cars and the traffic on the streets from a certain height at which the filmmaker is. The lens focuses on the Stanbic bank building at the Kenyatta Avenue branch as right next to it, is the national bank. Afterwards, the lens guides us through the city from inside the moving car. The camera stands on a woman who explores the streets and we see cars of that era, buildings and passers-by.
The woman is in City Square and with the filmmaker’s panoramic shot, we can vaguely see the clock from the parliament building and the round building of the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) standing out behind a tree. A shot with a sign that says “SIMBA STREET” the street we are on and we get back to the traffic as well as a hotel that we see in the background. The film closes with one more street sign the "WATALII STREET".
