Family trip to Chalkida, Christmas of 1959. Panoramic view that starts from the old bridge of Euripos and continues to the left, towards the mainland of the city of Chalkida, with the castle of Karababa dominating the hill. We watch the so-called "Miami" beach - later renamed "Asteria". The film is shot from the floor of the luxurious Lucy Hotel, which was inaugurated in 1955 and was considered to upgrade and modernize the city's tourist profile. The next shot shows the waterfront of the city, which features emblematic neoclassical buildings such as the Town Hall, the three-storey Kotsika Mansion with its characteristic domes built in 1904. Next is a field trip to the countryside where we see a girl next to a sheep. On the waterfront again of Chalkis, family members pose on the camera.
