Filiatra is a city in the prefecture of Messenia in the Peloponnese of Greece and seat of the homonymous Municipality.
The first shots of the film were taken by a car on the road leading to Filiatra.
The car stops at a point where a sign affixed to a tree reads "Water" and has a painted arrow, directing the driver's partner to a spring, where she fills a thermos with water and the route continues into the lush landscape.
Arriving in the city, we see a scale model of the Eiffel Tower, next to a school, where young students, dressed in traditional costumes, dance for the celebration of March 25 National Anniversary.
According to history, this small Eiffel Tower was built in 1960 and was a donation from the Greek-American doctor Charalambos Fournarakis, symbolizing the friendship between the two peoples. Due to this construction the city is known as Little Paris.
