We are on the border between Bulgaria and Greece. The film opens with a road sign informing us that Bulgaria is on the left. We see the border as well as the Bulgarian flag while the filmmaker has stopped in a rest area with the brand CORECOM and focuses on a woman coming towards him holding a puff pastry. The lens shows us the place and the parked cars of that era.
The view changes with the woman taking pictures of the landscape and the camera focusing on a sign which informs us that Sofia is straight ahead. Afterwards, we watch a tractor doing agricultural work as well as a local woman. Shots of the road from the moving car follow, while a little later the filmmaker has stopped on the side of the road and the woman is enjoying a drink.
The journey continues with shots from the route, with the camera focusing on various imposing signs of the Bulgarian Communist Party, on which we see the portrait of the party's founder, Dimitar Blagoev (Димитър Благоев-Дядо).
The film closes with a view of the lush landscape.
