We are in Cairo, the capital of Egypt and the largest city in the Arab world and Africa.
The film opens on a house’s roof and some type of constructions that have white clothes spread on them.
Afterwards, we see views of the square with cars of that era and people around while in the background we can see the statue of Ibrahim Pasha, general and viceroy of Egypt. The statue is the work of the French sculptor Charles Henri Joseph Cordier.
The film closes with a square’s different point of view as well as the traffic on the streets, trams, horse-carriages, cars and pedestrians.
