Description
We are at the airport of Rhodes where the filmmaker and his girlfriend will travel to Karpathos in an 18-seat Skyvan 3-200 of the Olympic Airlines with registration number SX-BBO, under the name "Island of Skiathos". A Douglas DC-3 is parked across it.
A curtain separates the passenger cabin from the cockpit and from the window we can see the relief of the mountains of Rhodes. As we approach Karpathos, a map informs us about the destination. The airplane flies in low height and the filmmaker gives us shots from the Pezoules where we can see the bay of Saint Irene near Mesochori between the steep rocks .
The film closes with the propellers swirling slightly and the passengers disembarking.
