Description
Lasithi is the easternmost regional unit on the island of Crete, in Greece.

The Lassithi Plateau is a picturesque plain which is surrounded by mountains.

The film begins with views from a car, in a verdant area which is surrounded by deep hills. The filmmaker stops a while for fuel supply. We see an old man with a cane and a blue sign with a pointing arrow that shows the direction to "LASITHI".

The wonderful route continues, the valley between the mountains begins to stand out. As we zoom in to the picture, we can see the windmills for which the Lassithi Plateau is famous and is also known as "the oldest wind farm in the world”.

Then we arrive at a village, we see three women dressed in black and wearing headscarves and men who sit outside a coffee house.

The filmmaker’s girlfriend puts salt in their food; it's time for dinner. Lastly one final magnificent panoramic view of the Plateau.
