Description
The filmmaker is in Agia Mavra, opposite the island of Lefkada (or Lefkas), in the Ionian Sea, Greece. He records the cable ferry (perama or perataria) that transports vehicles and passengers to the island of Lefkada.
We watch the chain rotating, giving movement to the floating platform.
The ferry, as shown in the film, was inaugurated two years earlier, in 1973.
