Moving on the road to Komotini with evergreen trees on both sides along the road.
Entering Komotini we find small one-story houses with two windows on the facades and gabled tiled roofs with a neoclassical house in the background and then above the roofs of the houses the minaret of the Eski Mosque. The tour continues on the main street of the city where we see the central Heroon of the city, a tall marble slab with a sword, a monument of the liberation of Komotini.
Along the way we pass in front of the Educational Association of Sarakatsani of Thrace and immediately after shots from Imaret, one of the oldest surviving Muslim monuments (1366 AD).
The cinematographer is impressed by an improvised hole covering mechanism on a stovepipe with a funnel and continues his way to the old town where he films two-story and one-story houses with enclosed balconies on their facades.
The film ends with shots from the old wall, views of the Eski Mosque, the daily life of the locals and finally, shots from the residential structure of the city.
