The filmmaker is on his way to Monemvasia, an impressive medieval settlement and castle in Laconia, Greece.
The film starts with a road sign that informs us about the destination and with shots from the route.
Arriving outside Monemvasia, the lens shows us with a panoramic view of the impressive rock on which the settlement is built.
Then we are in the alleys with the traditional stone houses. In the central square we see the bell tower of the church of "Elkomenos Christos".
Then we are transported to the top of the castle, to Ano Poli, where the filmmaker's companion enjoys the view and takes photos. Panorama of the Lower Town with houses and walls and a zoom-in on a hydrofoil ship (flying dolphin) in the sea. Finally the woman climbs to the top of the rock as behind her can be seen the Byzantine church of Hagia Sophia.
