Six people in the car, and the cramped cinematographer shoots as the car drives towards the Palace.
Behind a lorry, the car leaves pedestrians and buildings in its wake.
At the Palace at the summit of the Rock of Monaco. A view of the clock tower, the façade and the entrance to the palace. The palace guard perhaps as it is changing.
The film continues with shots of the Rock of Monaco; one member of the group observes the view from a telescope and the cinematographer closes the film with shots of the port with its luxury yachts and views of the city from above.
The palace consists of a fortress built in 1215 and royal apartments built later on. The palace has been the residence of the Grimaldi family since 1297 and is the Prince’s official residence. It is situated on the Rock of Monaco, at an elevation of 60 metres.
