The film opens with views from above at the Tholos (a circular temple) of the Goddess Athena Pronaia in Delphi with the Mountain Kirfis or Cirphis as a background and for a while we can admire the flora of the area.
Afterwards we watch views from the Athenian Treasury and then we watch the filmmaker’s company at the Stoa of the Athenians. The Ionic colonnade can be seen from the stoa and the tour continues on Iera Odos with the ancient ruins, which ends up at the Temple of Apollo.
The ascent from the cobblestone stairs continues to look at the Temple of Apollo where all the sacraments of worship to the god were performed, the most famous of which was the oracle. The lens wanders for a long time giving us details of the Temple and panoramic views from the Ancient Theater.
Two birds fly high above the steep cliff and a local woman picks up some bundles.
The film closes with the ascent to the highest point of the archeological area where the Ancient Stadium is located.
