We are in Central Macedonia, in the Prefecture of Pella, specifically in the homonymous city or Ancient Pella, which was a coastal ancient city, founded around 400 BC.
The visitors of the archeological site get a tour in the ruins of the ancient buildings, while in the background and around the ancient city one can see the modern town of the same name.
They walk between colonnades that supported houses, temples, palaces, public buildings and admire the mosaics with pebble floors, which create various formations and for which Pella is especially famous.
