Description
We are in the village of Mesa Potamoi in the prefecture of Lassithi, in Crete, as it is written on the road sign, at an altitude of 892 meters above sea level.
The camera with a small panoramic shot reveals a small settlement with traditional houses. Then, we are in a shady, from towering trees, plateau which looks like the village’s square, as there is traditional cafe’s equipment. A priest walks under the age-old trees.
We see footage from the filmmaker's car, in front of the vehicle there is an elderly man on a donkey holding the ropes of a second animal that are loaded with large baskets for transporting agricultural products.
One more rider comes from the opposite direction, guiding his two or three goats.
