We are in Chania, Crete. The filmmaker gives us a panoramic one-take shot of the northwestern side of the city’s Venetian port, where we can see the corner turret of Firkas fortress, as well as part of its fortification walls. The building that houses the Maritime Museum, at the entrance of the fortress follows.
Afterwards, we see a view of the port all around the shoreline and houses, shops, entertainment centers such as cafes and taverns as well as buildings of architectural influence of those who dominated the island (Venetians, Ottomans) over time.
