We are in Kavala, a city in Macedonia, in northern Greece.
The film opens with a household’s spread out laundry and as the shot gets wider, the filmmaker with a panorama, shows us the whole city’s building structure. It is built amphitheatrically at the foot of Mount Symbolo which is a small mountain range in the southwestern part of the prefecture of Kavala, in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
Afterwards, the lens captures the Old Aqueduct, also known as Kamares (arches), a well-preserved aqueduct in the city of Kavala and one of the city’s landmarks. We see views of the port with all kinds of boats but also the entire coastline and the walls of the fortress of Kavala.
The film closes with a long panoramic shot of the city, the imposing mountains and its port.
