Description
Summer of 1980 and the filmmaker is at the old Athens International Airport in Elliniko for a flight to Chania in Crete.
The film begins with a shot from the airport bus that takes passengers to the Olympic Airways plane, Boeing 727-200 SX-CBF, "Mount Taygetus". Passengers climb the stairs.
From the cabin window we see two more Olympic Airways planes, the Boeing 737-284 "Poseidon" and the Airbus A300B4-103 "Telemachus".
Then the plane takes off and passes over the marina of Glyfada. On the way we see a boat at sea.
Arriving in Crete we see smoke from a fire and immediately after the plane lands at Chania airport.
