We are in Kontovazena (or Kontovazaina), a village in the Municipality of Gortynia in the north-west of the prefecture of Arcadia, 72 kilometers away from the city of Tripoli.
We see the sign that informs us that we are in Kontovazena and then the verdant landscape as well as the village’s traditional buildings.
Afterwards, the filmmaker shows us a monument and views of the green lush village, the traditional stone houses, the streets as well as the impressive metropolitan church of Agia Triada. The shots from the village continue as we meet two women with a donkey and an old man who approaches the camera smiling. The lens stops on two little boys and then on a natural spring.
The film closes with views of the village, the mountains and a church with an elaborate bell tower.
