We are in Prespes, the trinational mountain lake area famous for its natural beauty on the northwest border of Greece with Albania and North Macedonia.
The film opens with a sign informing us that we have arrived at Pisoderi, a village that is built on the slopes of Mount Varnouda at an altitude of approximately 1,420 meters. It is the most mountainous settlement of Florina and belongs to the Municipality of Prespa. We see shots of the road and the area from the moving car with Mount Varnouda standing out in the background.
The view changes with the lens standing on a pelican. A woman approaches him and caresses his beak as he, after a while, opens his wings and starts to walk away. A panoramic shot of the lake follows with several fishing boats and fishermen on the shore.
The film closes with the woman holding a snake in her hands.
