We are in Washington, D.C, the capital of the United States of America. The film opens with a lot of people protesting about the policy of US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and the US President Gerald Ford for their political support of Turkey's invasion of Cyprus.
The filmmaker shows us the crowd with panoramic shots who hold placards, banners, signs and Greek flags as we also see the presence of police forces with cars, motors and human resources. The lens focuses on the banners and signs, singling out one that reads "KISSINGER OUT OF STATE DEPARTMENT" and then gets back to the people and their protest while there are also several banners with the outline of Cyprus.
We see the statue of Major General Marquis Gilbert de Lafayette in Lafayette Square and a protester who has climbed up and is waving the Greek flag as people applaud him. We get back to the protesters with the camera focusing on a group of people who hold a “DO NOT BE A MODEL “T” FORD. HELP CYPRUS!” sign and afterwards wee see the policemen. The footage from the march continues with the filmmaker showing us the people and a priest who is in the front row leading the crowd.
The film closes with views of the demonstration, posters and banners with Cyprus, protesters in the park as well as with the camera standing on a protester waving the Greek flag.
Under the ministry of Henry Kissinger, among other things, the coup of the Greek Junta in Cyprus and the deadly Turkish invasion of Cyprus in July and August 1974 took place. As revealed in confidential documents of the Foreign Office, the main goal of Kissinger's policy in the Cyprus issue was to satisfy Turkey.
