Description
We are in Platy, a village of the Municipality of Prespa in the prefecture of Florina, in Greece.
It is August 6, the feast of the Transfiguration of the Savior and we watch footage of people who have gathered from the surrounding villages, as on this particular date in Platy there is a festival, which is the most important cultural event of the village.
Attendees drink, smoke, joke as live music plays.
Afterwards, adults and children dance traditional Macedonian dances (Pontiac kotsari, syrto etc) to tango, around the orchestra.
