Description
We are in the port of Heraklion, the largest city of Crete.
The film opens with a panoramic shot of the Venetian port. We see two «Hellenic Lines» merchant ships that are moored on the dock and afterwards, the sea fortress of Koules, which was built by the Venetians and is located at the entrance of the Venetian harbor, built to protect the port of Heraklion and together with the Castle of Palaiokastro the bay of Ammoudara from invasions and landings of other conquerors.
The film closes with shots of the port, the jetty and the buildings that stood at the time.
