Description
The story of the World Festival of Youth and Students, begins in the summer of 1947. Through a variety of events such as sports games in several different sports, political seminars and conversations, concerts and other events took place the 11th festival in July 1978 in Cuba.
In the film, children and teenagers play the traditional bongos and sing. Afterwards, adults take part too, playing and singing as well.
A party has been set up on the balconies of the schools that host the delegations. The Cubans are playing the bongos, wind instruments, keyboards, singing and dancing at a traditional Cuban celebration that carries away the young people from all the delegations.
