We are in the -then- New Royal Palace (now the Presidential Mansion) on Herodou Attikou Street, where we watch footage from the honorary Royal Guard (with the abolition of the monarchy in 1974 was renamed "Presidential Guard") of Evzonoi (chosen soldiers of the Greek army who carry out symbolic missions such as being a member of the Presidential Guard or guards the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Presidential Mansion in Athens).
An Evzonas approaches the lens, remaining lofty with his eyes looking at the horizon, holding an M1 Garrand in his hand and another one standing motionless, holding himself straight in his post. We watch the traditional uniform of the hoplite Evzonas with the white "foustanela".
Afterwards, a traffic policeman regulates the traffic jam on the roads, a few pedestrians cross the road and several vehicles move along it.
Subsequently, the Royal Guard marches in formation around the Palace as people watch or photograph them.
The film closes with a view of an Evzonas on guard, in the presence of a police officer.
