The ship sails away leaving behind a white line and the water it displaces hits the keel.
We watch the town of Hydra from distance surrounded by the mountains Eros, Pirgos and Malies as it is built amphitheatrically on two rocky hills. The filmmaker zooms in and the three-story mansions, influenced by the Genoese architecture, come closer.
The lens focuses on the mansion of Tombazis (since 1936 the School of Fine Arts) and the mansion of Fragiskos Voulgaris. As the lens moves, we see shots of the boats that are moored on the pier, of the spread-out fishing nets and from the houses along the waterfront.
The film closes with the walk of the cinematographer and his friend on the cobbled waterfront.
