Skiathos is a small Greek island in the northwest Aegean Sea and the westernmost island in the Northern Sporades group. The filmmaker is on a ship that sailed from the port of Volos to Skiathos.
During the voyage, the filmmaker gives us shots of a ship passing by the ship he is on board. We watch the passengers, as well as some parts of Magnesia from which the ship sails away. We see the lighthouse at the edge of the Pagasitic Gulf and the Trikeri area which is built on a hill behind the lighthouse.
The journey continues and the passengers enjoy it. We approach the port of Skiathos and we can see the first buildings, old mansions that are by the sea, lush vegetation and modern houses. A panoramic shot of the port, we can see on a hill the church of Saint Nikolaos with the Clock Tower as well as boats and fishing boats that are moored in the port and the landing pier.
