The filmmaker travels by plane in a domestic flight in Greece, towards Ioannina, and records from above the morphology of the ground.
As the film begins we see footage from the Gulf of Corinth, mountains, clouds and the propeller of the airplane. We notice that the plane is heading northwest of the country, as we see the Evinos river, alongside the prefecture of Aetolia-Acarnania, between the mountains of the prefecture and crops in the lowlands.
We have reached the northwest of Messolonghi and the lens captures Aetoliko, a small town that is developed on a small island rooted in the water in the middle of the Aetoliko-Messolonghi lagoon. We can also see the two bridges east and west, which connect the Aetoliko with the land.
We see a shot from the National Road Antirio-Agrinio-Ioannina, the irrigation canals of Messolonghi and the film closes with one more view of Aetoliko.
