Description
The filmmaker takes a flight from Athens to Ioannina, the capital of Epirus in Greece.
We see a shot with the airplane’s propeller and in the background are visible the mountain peaks above the dense clouds. An image with the crystal clear sky and we can see the town and the beach of Amphilochia.
Then, as we pass over the city of Arta, we watch the historical bridge next to the modern one. Afterwards, as we are getting closer to the destination, we fly over the villages of Neokaisareia and Bafra.
We reach above the town of Ioannina, from the airplane’s window, the filmmaker gives us aerial shots of the city, but also of historic buildings such as the Command Office (today the building of Prefecture), the Officers' Club, the Zosimaia School and more.
The film closes with the view of the stadium of the Panepirotic Sports Association (PAS Ioannina).
