Description
We are a few kilometers outside Megara at the height that today are the first tunnels of Olympia Odos highway, in the-then-guarded train crossing on the Old Athens-Corinth National Road in Kakia Skala.
The barriers have been lowered and a commercial diesel wagon of metric width, most likely, type DL537 of ALCO (numbered from A.9101 to A.9112 of the then S.E.K.) passes quickly in front of the lens.
After the last wagon disappears from the shot, the filmmaker records the worker who lifts the protective barriers using a mechanism.
A little further down, a farmer loads his bundles into the cart and the horse patiently lifts this heavy load.
Then, shots probably from the rocky beach of Vardaris and the film closes with footage of a car moving on a dirt road.
