We are in Bohali, a hill of Zakynthos (or Zante) island, in the Ionian Sea in Greece.
The view from Bohali is unique as the visitor can enjoy the endless blue of the Ionian Sea up to the Peloponnese. We see a panoramic view of the city of Zakynthos and we can stand out some emblematic buildings of the island, such as the Byzantine Museum, the Municipal Library and the Cultural Center in the central square of Dionysios Solomos, the -then- central pier, Mount Skopos and the building of the Prefecture.
With a zoom in shot on the western part of the port, we see the Church of Saint Dionysios, the island’s patron saint. It is the largest church in the city and the bell tower stands out from afar.
The panoramic shot in the opposite direction focuses on the Mount Skopos, the dock’s waterfront and the Ionian Sea’s endless blue. We return to Bohali where we see a woman with two children walking in the courtyard of the Church of Zoodochos Pigi and a man gazing at the sea.
