The filmmaker is on the Acropolis of Athens and is preparing to visit the archeological site.
The film opens with a shot from the entrance area, in front of the Propylaea with the Temple of Athena Nike.
The camera zooms in on the Propylaea and the Parthenon. Then we see the Herodeion with the stage and the marble cavea.
The cinematographer has now climbed on the Acropolis and with a panoramic shot shows us the Erechtheion, which was in the process of restoration at that time, and the north side of the Parthenon, where with a quick zoom of the lens we observe the sculptures in the metopes.
Then, with shots above the north wall, we see the Areios Pagos hill with many tourist buses below. Then the camera records the ancient Agora with the Temple of Hephaestus and the Odeion of Agrippa. We see a panoramic view of the city of Athens, from Plaka and Monastiraki to Patisia in the background. The filmmaker zooms in on the OTE Tower.
Then we are on the east side of the Acropolis where we see Lycabettus Hill, the Hilton Hotel and the Greek flag waving. Close up to the Caryatids of the Erechtheion through the scaffolding and some more shots of the Parthenon and the Propylaea. Two men are chatting in front of the temple.
The last shots are taken from the southern wall of the Acropolis where we see the Theater of Dionysus with the paved orchestra, the Asclepieion and the columns of the temple of Olympian Zeus.
