Description
We are in Heraklion, the largest city in Crete.

The film opens with the tomb of the writer Nikos Kazantzakis. The tomb is simple, with a large wooden cross and a marble inscription which he had asked to be written: "I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free." The filmmaker shows us his company who sit on a stone terrace overlooking the whole city (as the tomb is located at the highest point of Heraklion, on the Venetian walls in the Martinengo bastion) and then a woman visits the tomb.

The film closes with a panoramic view of the whole city of Heraklion with its building structure with the Metropolitan Church of Agios Minas standing out in the background as well as views of the city.
