We are in Phalasarna, which is 59 km west of Chania and 12 km west of Kissamos.
The film opens with a car of that era which is parking outside a tavern that is by the sea, and a couple that gets out of it. We see the couple admiring the view for a while as they talk and then the camera focuses on the tavern’s tables.
The filmmaker with a panoramic shot shows us the beach of Pachia Ammos and the people who are there. Some people stand and admire the view while talking, a man and a boy go down the path holding flippers, a couple prepares for the beach, a woman with a child play next to a car. Afterwards, we see a general view of the beach and then the couple of the first shot leaving with their car and the lens follows them for a while. One more car of that era follows as we get a general view of the area.
The film closes with the filmmaker having left Phalasarna and reaching the bay of Kissamos, which he shows us with a shot.
*Phalasarna has been included in the Natura 2000 projects, due to the variety of flora and fauna in the area but also due to the special natural beauty.
