We are in the center of Athens, the capital of Greece since 1834, the largest and most densely populated city in the country.
The film opens with a view of the Acropolis from the place where the filmmaker is. We see the Temple of Athena Nike, a small amphiprostyle Ionian temple in the Acropolis of Athens and with a close-up and a panoramic shot we see the entire Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the area of the Theater of Dionysus.
Afterwards, the lens shows us the hill of Filopappou with the monument at the top and as the lens zooms out, we see the houses and the buildings of that era that existed in the center of Athens. The filmmaker continues with views of Athens with panoramic shots and gets back to the Acropolis and the Theater of Dionysus. One more panoramic shot with the hill of Lycabettus standing out and the camera focuses on the Panathinaiko Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro.
The film closes with views of all of Athens and the Thrasyllou street with cars and houses of that time, and the tavern "Bacchus".
